The achievement of completing a marathon training program and finishing the marathon will be your treasure for the rest of your life. The training schedule which follows are the latest evolution in a minimal mileage, low-impact training routine which has been used successfully by an estimated 100,000 marathoners since 1978.

The Cincinnati program trains marathoners and half marathoners year round. We kick off with Jeff Galloway in May for the fall marathons and November for the Spring marathons training runners for many different races including the Flying Pig marathon and half marathon in May. We meet Saturday mornings at different locations around the city for the long runs and Wednesday for optional speed training for the veterans wanting to improve their finish times.

Ohio Valley Voices

Ohio Valley Voices’ mission is to teach deaf children to speak and to understand when others speak to them.  Our long-term goal is to successfully mainstream our students into the hearing world, and more specifically, to their home school districts.  To accomplish this, we strive to meet the basic objectives of oral language development as soon as the child’s deafness is diagnosed, and to provide the tools necessary for parents and other family members to become advocates for their children. Ohio Valley Voices was formed in 1999 when a group of local parents were motivated enough to establish a program for their own deaf children.  They knew that an oral education could give their children many more opportunities, but no oral program existed anywhere in the region.
