THE SAVANNAH ROCK N' ROLL MARATHON

 GENERAL INFORMATION:

You can do 26.2 or 13.1! The Full Marathon & 1/2 Marathon Training Programs are a 16-18 week program designed to prepare runners, run/walkers and walkers for their first ever endurance event or to help seasoned runners, run/walkers or walkers meet a new performance goal.   For all of the details about the 1/2 Marathon program please go to the link for the 1/2 Marathon!

We have an exceptional coaching team, boasting a 1:10 ratio (coaches to participants) to lead you along your training journey. Specific training plans are based on more than ten years of offering training programs in the Cincinnati communtiy and will help prepare participants to run or walk the 26.2 Mile distance.  It is recommended that participants are comfortable running or walking 4-6 miles to begin our marathon training program.

The program includes a training plan designed by experienced coaches, two weekly coach-led group runs and walks along with a weekly optional workout, a moisture wicking training shirt, off site workouts to help you become familiar with varying courses and much more!  You don’t have to prepare to run or walk a marathon alone  - Fleet Feet Sports is here for you!

Our next full marathon program will kick off on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports.  We will be offering full and 1/2 marathon programs for the National Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon (October 21, 2012) and the Rock N' Roll Marathon in Savannah, GA on November 3, 2012.

National Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon Training Program -- More Details

• The Columbus Marathon Training Program will prepare you to run, run/walk or walk the 26.2 mile distance during the National Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon on October 21, 2012.
• The program will begin on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Fleet Feet Sports.
• Two weekly workouts will be coach-led and held on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturdays at 7:00 am at Fleet Feet Sports. We also offer a third weekly optional workout on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports.
The cost of the program is $125 (please note that this DOES NOT include your entry fee for the Columbus Marathon). 
• Participants in this program will receive: weekly coach-led workouts; a weekly training schedule; FREE injury screens from Oxford Physical Therapy, massages offered by The Woodhouse Day Spa, and other great perks from some of our community partners; a FREE Good Form Running Seminar; a coupon booklet; a moisture wicking training top; weekly emails with training tips and coaching information; seminars and educational programs; a great group of folks to run or walk with; and much more!

Savannah Rock N' Roll Marathon Training Program -- More Details

By joining the Savannah Rock N' Roll Marathon Training Program you will be joining a group of fellow Fleet Feet Sports runners and walkers from across the county on November 3, 2012 to run or walk the Savannah Rock N' Roll Marathon!  This program is sponsored nationally by Brooks Sports and Fleet Feet Sports Cincinnati is excited to be a part of this movement.  As details become available they will be added to the web site.

• The Savannah Rock N' Roll Marathon Training Program will prepare you to run, run/walk or walk the 26.2 mile distance during the Rock N' Roll Marathon in Savannah, GA on November 3, 2012.

• The program will begin on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 6:30 pm at Fleet Feet Sports.
• Two weekly workouts will be coach-led and held on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturdays at 7:00 am at Fleet Feet Sports. We also offer a third weekly optional workout on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports.
